Take Control of Your Finances, One Step At A Time
Clear, practical guidance to help you understand investing, grow your money, and build a stronger financial future for your family.
With over a decade in capital markets, I saw how overwhelming personal finance can feel, especially for women. That’s why I created The Investing Mama. My goal is to make managing money simple, clear, and accessible, and to help you feel confident navigating your finances no matter where you’re starting from.
About Me
I’m Sharon, founder of The Investing Mama. I help women feel more confident with their money by explaining financial topics in a way that actually makes sense. Before starting The Investing Mama, I spent over a decade working in capital markets alongside financial advisors. That experience gave me a close look at how the investment industry works and how financial products are structured.
It also showed me how complex financial information can be for everyday investors to navigate. That’s what inspired me to create The Investing Mama - a place where financial concepts are explained in a way that’s clear, practical, and easy to apply to real life.
When I took a career break to focus on my family, I started connecting with other moms who, like me, realized how little financial education was out therefor women. That opened my eyes and pushed me to create something practical and no-nonsense. I wanted a space where women could learn how to manage money, invest, and build wealth in a way that actually fits into real life.
As a mom, I understand how busy life is and how easy it is to put money on the back burner. But understanding your finances is not just for the wealthy. It is for everyone. Every woman deserves to feel clear and confident when it comes to money, not just for herself but for her family too.
When you feel confident managing your own money, you are better equipped to teach your kids and raise them to feel capable and comfortable with their finances too.
At The Investing Mama, I focus on helping women feel comfortable and capable when it comes to money. I break down big topics like investing, debt, and building long-term wealth into everyday language so it feels manageable, even on your busiest days.
